Starting January 1, 2023 the entity that governs Motor Vehicles and Driver’s License has changed. Oklahoma legislature HB 3419 has taken Motor Vehicles out of the Oklahoma Tax Commission and has taken Drivers License out of Department of Public Safety. There are other entities in Service Oklahoma that have been absorbed but for our office only Motor Vehicles and Department of public Safety are relevant. These together make up Service Oklahoma and Service Oklahoma is who the average Oklahoman will be engaging with for their vehicle and licensing needs. Not all locations provide the same services so to figure out where you need to go for your services visit service.ok.gov and click on locations. Then select what service you need from the left panel to see what locations can help you. The main location is no longer 3600 MLK but instead 6015 N Classen Bldg 4 OKC.
