What is Real ID?
Real ID is a new format for Oklahoma driver’s licenses and IDs that meets federal standards for security features within the card. A compliant real id means that you brought in documents to prove your identity to government standards.
What do I need to get one?

All names on accepted documents must match and it must be your legal first name legal last name and any legal suffixes.
When do I need it by?
A compliant real id will be required by May 2025 to travel domestically or to get into federal buildings or military bases. If you are using a non-compliant real id after that date, you will have to have additional proof of identity such as a passport.
